In 2012, Hardi founded an exhibition entitled ART ENERGY. This one is particularly interesting because there has never been an exhibition that highlighted the energy industry in Indonesia. Energy has always been associated with negative things, like the price of BBM. But not many realize that they are the backbone of this country. So, with this, BPMIGAS asked seven painters and four poet to held an exhibition and made the ART ENERGY book.​ The exhibition took place at Galeri Nasional Jakarta, in 2012, and was opened by  Mr. Jero Wacik, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.

 

Hardi's art pieces in this exhibition was especially unique because he made it live from rigs and tankers of oil companies in Indonesia. He captured the beauty of it, and it was special.
